Crispy Mozzarella Sticks with Marinara Sauce & Creamy Dip
Ingredients:
For the Mozzarella Sticks:
1 lb mozzarella cheese, cut into 1-inch cubes
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup milk
Oil for frying
For the Marinara Sauce:
1 jar (15 oz) marinara sauce
For the Creamy Dip:
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions:
Make the Mozzarella Sticks: In a shallow dish, whisk together flour, panko, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. In another dish, whisk together eggs and milk. Dip each mozzarella cube in the egg mixture, then dredge in the flour mixture, ensuring it's fully coated.
Fry the Mozzarella Sticks: Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry the mozzarella cubes for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and melted inside. Drain on paper towels.
Make the Creamy Dip: In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, parsley, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and pepper.
Serve: Arrange fried mozzarella sticks on a plate. Serve with marinara sauce and Creamy Dip.
