Fried Bologna Sandwich

 


🥪 Fried Bologna Sandwich


Ingredients:

* 2–4 slices of bologna

* 2 slices of white bread

* 1–2 slices of cheese (American or cheddar work great)

* 1–2 tbsp butter or oil

* Mustard and/or mayonnaise (to taste)

* Pickles (optional)

Instructions:

1. Prep the bologna:

Make small cuts (like an “X”) in the center or edges of each slice. This keeps it from curling up when frying.

2. Heat the pan:

Place a skillet over medium heat and add a little butter or oil.

3. Fry the bologna:

Cook the slices for about 1–2 minutes per side until they get nicely browned and slightly crispy.

4. Toast the bread (optional but recommended):

In the same pan, lightly toast the bread with a bit of butter until golden.

5. Assemble the sandwich:

Spread mustard and/or mayo on the bread.

Add the fried bologna, then place cheese on top so it melts slightly.

Add pickles if you like extra crunch.

6. Serve hot:

Close the sandwich, slice if you want, and enjoy!
