BBQ Chicken Ingredients and Cooking Instructions

 


Ingredients:

  • 4-6 chicken pieces (breast, thighs, legs, or wings)
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce of your choice
  • 1/4 cup olive oil (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the BBQ sauce and olive oil (if using).
  2. Add the chicken pieces to the bowl and turn to coat.
  3. Cover the bowl and marinate the chicken in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours.
  4. Heat a grill to medium-high heat.
  5. Remove the chicken pieces from the marinade and discard any remaining marinade.
  6. Place the chicken pieces on the grill, skin side down. Cover and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  7. Brush the chicken with additional BBQ sauce during the last 5 minutes of cooking, if desired.
  8. Serve hot.
