Ingredients and Cooking Instructions For Pan Fried Steak

 



Ingredients:

  • 1 pound of your preferred cut of steak (e.g., ribeye, sirloin, filet mignon)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1-2 tablespoons of oil or butter

Instructions:

  1. Remove steak from the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature (30 minutes to an hour).
  2. Season both sides of the steak with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat up a large, heavy-bottomed pan over high heat.
  4. Once the pan is hot, add oil or butter.
  5. Place the steak in the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until it reaches your desired doneness (rare, medium rare, medium, well done).
  6. Once done, remove the steak from the pan and let it rest for a few minutes.
  7. Serve and enjoy!
