Ingredients:
- 1 (4-7 pound) pork shoulder
- 1/2 cup dry rub (such as brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and chili powder)
- 1 cup chicken broth or water
- 1 cup BBQ sauce of your choice
- 6-8 brioche buns
Instructions:
- Trim any excess fat from the pork shoulder and season both sides with the dry rub.
- Place the pork shoulder in a slow cooker and add the chicken broth or water.
- Cook on low for 8-10 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
- Drain the cooking liquid and shred the pork using two forks.
- Stir in the BBQ sauce and continue cooking on low for another 30 minutes.
- Toast the brioche buns and serve the pulled pork on top.
