Cajun Shrimp and Steak Alfredo Pasta

Ingredients:

8 oz fettuccine pasta

1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

1/2 lb steak (ribeye or sirloin), thinly sliced

2 tbsp Cajun seasoning

2 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

1/2 cup chicken broth

1/2 tsp smoked paprika

1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved (optional)

Directions:

Cook fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a bowl, season shrimp and steak with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat evenly.

Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until seared and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

In the same skillet, add 1 tbsp olive oil and cook shrimp for 1-2 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.

Reduce heat to medium and melt butter in the skillet. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine.

Gradually add Parmesan cheese while stirring continuously until sauce is smooth and creamy.

Add smoked paprika and red pepper flakes for extra heat. Stir well.

Return cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the Alfredo sauce.

Add shrimp and steak back to the pan and mix everything together.

Garnish with fresh parsley and cherry tomatoes, then serve immediately.
