Ingredients:
For the Steak Bites:
- 🥩 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 🧂 Salt and pepper to taste
- 🧄 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 🧈 2 tbsp butter
- 🌿 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
**For the Rotini and Garlic Parmesan Sauce:**
- 🍝 12 oz rotini pasta
- 🧈 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 🧄 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 🥛 1 cup heavy cream
- 🧀 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 🌿 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 🧂 Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Cook the Rotini:
- Boil rotini pasta in salted water until al dente (about 10-12 minutes).
- Drain and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.
2. Prepare the Steak Bites:
- Season the steak bites with salt and pepper.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and melt butter.
- Sear the steak bites for 2-3 minutes per side until browned and medium-rare.
- Add minced garlic and toss for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Remove from the skillet and set aside.
3. Make the Garlic Parmesan Sauce:
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Pour in the heavy cream and Italian seasoning, stirring constantly.
- Gradually add Parmesan cheese, whisking until fully melted and creamy.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
4. Combine Everything:
- Add the cooked rotini to the sauce, tossing to coat well.
- If the sauce is too thick, add a bit of the reserved pasta water.
- Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss gently with the pasta.
5. Serve:
- Plate the pasta and steak bites.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan if desired.
