MEATBALL RECIPE FROM A GRANDMA

 FROM FACEBOOK:

#DashPartner Close up of my grandma’s MEATBALLS featuring @mrsdashrecipes for extra bold flavor! 🍝🍝🍝

If you haven’t ordered the Original Dash seasoning on Amazon + tried this recipe, consider this your sign!

Dash seasonings are salt-free seasoning mixes that:

🧂save you time in the kitchen (no more opening 500 spice containers!)

🧂give your food bold flavor, without adding salt

🧂let you control how much salt you add to match your taste buds + needs

My grandma’s their biggest fan and suggests you add it to:

🥗 egg salad, tuna salad, chicken salad

🍗chicken cutlets

🧅sauteed onions (she’ll make a big batch and add them to everything!)

And, of course, her MEATBALLS!!!

SAVE THIS RECIPE

1 lb ground beef (85-90% lean)

1 small yellow onion, grated

1 tablespoon Dash Original seasoning

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

1/3 cup water

For the sauce:

2 teaspoons olive oil

1 small yellow onion, diced

1 teaspoon Dash Original seasoning

¼ teaspoon smoked paprika

1 24 oz jar marinara sauce

Instructions:

1 . Preheat the oven to 375F.

2. In a small bowl soak the breadcrumbs in water for 3-5 minutes.

3 . After 5 minutes, in a large bowl mix together the ground beef, grated onion, Dash seasoning, and soaked breadcrumbs.

4 . Loosely form into balls and place on a baking sheet. Cook for 15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until brown.

5 . Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat. When hot, saute the diced onion with 1 teaspoon Dash seasoning and smoked paprika until soft, about 10 minutes.

6 . When the onion is soft, add marinara sauce and several crumbled meatballs. Then add the remaining whole meatballs and simmer uncovered for about 30 minutes.
