1. Veg Sandwich
Ingredients:
* Bread slices – 4
* Butter – 2 tbsp
* Green chutney – 2 tbsp
* Cucumber (sliced) – 1/2 cup
* Tomato (sliced) – 1/2 cup
* Onion (sliced) – 1/4 cup
* Capsicum (sliced) – 1/4 cup
* Lettuce leaves – 2
* Salt – 1/4 tsp
* Black pepper – 1/4 tsp
Instructions:
1. Spread butter on all bread slices.
2. Spread green chutney on 2 slices.
3. Layer cucumber, tomato, onion, capsicum, and lettuce.
4. Sprinkle salt and black pepper.
5. Cover with remaining bread slices.
6. Cut diagonally and serve fresh.
2. Chicken Sandwich
Ingredients:
* Bread slices – 4
* Cooked chicken (shredded) – 1 cup
* Mayonnaise – 3 tbsp
* Black pepper – 1/2 tsp
* Salt – 1/4 tsp
* Lettuce leaves – 2
* Tomato slices – 4
* Butter – 2 tbsp
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, mix chicken, mayonnaise, pepper, and salt.
2. Spread butter on bread slices.
3. Put chicken mixture on 2 slices.
4. Add lettuce and tomato slices.
5. Cover with remaining bread slices.
6. Cut and serve.
3. Egg Sandwich
Ingredients:
* Bread slices – 4
* Eggs (boiled) – 3
* Mayonnaise – 3 tbsp
* Mustard sauce – 1 tsp
* Salt – 1/4 tsp
* Black pepper – 1/4 tsp
* Lettuce leaves – 2
* Butter – 2 tbsp
Instructions:
1. Peel and mash boiled eggs.
2. Add mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
3. Spread butter on bread slices.
4. Place egg mixture on 2 slices.
5. Add lettuce leaves.
6. Cover, cut, and serve.
4. Tuna Sandwich
Ingredients:
* Bread slices – 4
* Tuna (canned) – 1 cup
* Mayonnaise – 3 tbsp
* Onion (chopped) – 2 tbsp
* Celery (chopped) – 2 tbsp
* Salt – 1/4 tsp
* Black pepper – 1/2 tsp
* Lettuce leaves – 2
* Butter – 2 tbsp
Instructions:
1. Mix tuna, mayonnaise, onion, celery, salt, and pepper.
2. Spread butter on bread slices.
3. Add tuna mixture on 2 slices.
4. Top with lettuce.
5. Cover with remaining bread slices.
6. Cut and serve chilled.
5. Club Sandwich
Ingredients:
* Bread slices – 6
* Cooked chicken (sliced) – 1/2 cup
* Bacon (cooked) – 4 strips
* Lettuce leaves – 2
* Tomato slices – 6
* Mayonnaise – 3 tbsp
* Butter – 2 tbsp
* Salt – 1/4 tsp
* Black pepper – 1/4 tsp
Instructions:
1. Toast bread slices lightly.
2. Spread butter and mayonnaise on bread.
3. Layer lettuce, chicken, tomato, and bacon on first slice.
4. Add second bread slice and repeat layers.
5. Cover with third slice.
6. Cut into triangles and secure with toothpicks.
6. Grilled Cheese Sandwich
Ingredients:
* Bread slices – 2
* Cheese slices – 2
* Butter – 2 tbsp
* Salt – a pinch
* Black pepper – a pinch
* Oregano – 1/4 tsp (optional)
Instructions:
1. Spread butter on one side of each bread slice.
2. Place cheese between unbuttered sides.
3. Sprinkle salt, pepper, and oregano.
4. Heat a pan on medium flame.
5. Grill sandwich until golden brown on both sides and cheese melts.
