9 Types of Homemade Wrapper Sheets

 


🌯 Tortilla Wraps


Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour

3/4 cup warm water

3 tbsp vegetable oil

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp baking powder


Procedure:

Mix flour, salt, and baking powder in a bowl.

Add water and oil, then knead into a soft dough.

Rest the dough for 20 minutes.

Divide into small balls and roll into thin circles.

Cook on a hot pan until light brown spots appear.


🥟 Spring Roll Wrappers


Ingredients:

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 1/4 cups water

1/4 tsp salt


Procedure:

Mix flour, water, and salt into a thin batter.

Heat a non-stick pan lightly.

Brush a thin layer of batter onto the pan.

Cook briefly until set, then peel off carefully.

Stack and keep covered.


🥠 Egg Roll Wrappers


Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 cup water

1 egg

1/2 tsp salt

2 tbsp cornstarch


Procedure:

Mix flour, salt, and cornstarch.

Add egg and water to form a smooth dough.

Knead well and rest for 30 minutes.

Roll out thin sheets and cut into squares.

Use immediately or store covered.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup rice flour

1/2 cup tapioca flour

3/4 cup water

1/4 tsp salt


Procedure:

Mix all ingredients into a smooth batter.

Pour a thin layer onto a hot flat pan.

Cook until set but not crispy.

Remove carefully and cool.

Stack with parchment to prevent sticking.

Procedure:

1 cup milk

Procedure:

Whisk all ingredients into a smooth batter.

Let batter rest for 10–15 minutes.

Pour a thin layer into a hot pan.

Cook both sides lightly until golden.

Stack and keep warm.


🍞 Naan Bread


Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour

3/4 cup warm water

1/4 cup yogurt

2 tbsp olive oil

2 tsp sugar

1 tsp salt


Procedure:

Mix all ingredients into a soft dough.

Knead well and let it rise for 1 hour.

Divide and roll into flat shapes.

Cook on a hot pan or tandoor until puffed.

Brush with butter if desired.

Ingredients:

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

1 cup cold unsalted butter

1/2 cup cold water

1 tbsp sugar

1/2 tsp lemon juice


Procedure:

Mix flour, sugar, and lemon juice.

Add cold butter and mix lightly.

Add water to form a dough.

Roll and fold multiple times to create layers.

Chill between folds and roll into sheets before use.
