WOULD YOU EAT THIS ITALIAN SAUSAGE WITH PEPPERS AND ONIONS 🌶️🌭


Ingredients:


4 Italian sausages (mild or spicy, your choice)

2 bell peppers, sliced (any color)

1 large onion, sliced

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp dried oregano

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh basil or parsley (optional for garnish)

Crusty bread or hoagie rolls (optional for serving)

Instructions:


Heat olive oil in a large skillet or pan over medium heat.

Add the sausages and cook until browned on all sides, about 8-10 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside.

In the same pan, add the sliced bell peppers and onion. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until softened.

Sprinkle with garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.

Slice the sausages and add them back to the pan with the peppers and onions. Continue cooking for another 5-7 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

Serve with crusty bread, hoagie rolls, or enjoy as is!

Blackened Salmon with Creamy Dijon Sauce ☀️


Ingredients:


For the Salmon:


4 (6-ounce) salmon fillets

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

1 lime, juiced

For the Creamy Dijon Sauce:


1/4 cup mayonnaise

1/4 cup Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon honey

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:


Prepare the Salmon: In a bowl, combine the salmon fillets, olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using). Toss to coat. Let the salmon marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 24 hours.

Cook the Salmon: Grill or pan-fry the salmon fillets until cooked through and slightly charred, about 5-7 minutes per side. Let the salmon rest for a few minutes before serving.

Make the Creamy Dijon Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, honey, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

Serve: Place the cooked salmon fillets on plates. Drizzle with the Creamy Dijon Sauce and garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.

Tips:


For a spicier dish, add more cayenne pepper to the seasoning.

Serve the salmon with your favorite sides, such as roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or rice.

With Valentine’s Day around the corner, these sweet, creamy treats are the perfect way to say “I love you” with dessert. Plus, they’re made with @egglandsbest eggs for that unbeatable nutrition and flavor.  


For the Oreo Crust:  

🍪 10 Oreo cookies  

🍪 3 tbsp butter  


For the Cheesecake Filling:  

🍓 8 oz cream cheese (room temp)  

🍓 1 EB Large Egg + 1 EB Large Egg Yolk  

🍓 1/3 cup powdered sugar  

🍓 1 tbsp strawberry syrup  

🍓 2 tbsp sour cream  

🍓 1 tsp vanilla  

🍓 3 strawberries, halved  

🍓 Pinch of salt  


📖 Directions:  

- Line a muffin pan with liners and preheat to 350°F.  

- Crush Oreos into crumbs, mix with melted butter, and press into liners.  

- Beat cream cheese, eggs, and other filling ingredients until smooth.  

- Fill liners, press a strawberry half into each, and bake for 18-20 minutes.  

- Chill for 4-6 hours, then top with whipped cream and strawberries.
