STOCK UP ON FROOT LOOPS!!! Hahahaaa...

"Froot Loops in the US often contain more chemicals than those sold in Europe because of significantly stricter food regulations in the European Union, which limit the use of artificial colors and preservatives commonly found in American versions, including dyes like Red 40 and Yellow 5, leading to a more "natural" ingredient list in European products; essentially, the US allows more additives considered potentially harmful in Europe.

Key points about this difference:

Stricter regulations:

European food regulations are generally considered more stringent than those in the US, particularly regarding additives and artificial coloring.

Consumer demand:

European consumers often demand products with fewer artificial ingredients, putting pressure on manufacturers to use more natural alternatives.

Different standards:

The US FDA has a "generally regarded as safe" (GRAS) system, where the industry often determines what ingredients are considered safe, while Europe has more rigorous testing and oversight. "
